Feathered Dinosaurs?
The controversy over whether dinosaurs had feathers, and which ones might have continues now with the discovery coming from the Lianoning province in China. Since 1992 startling discoveries have been made there which shows that it wasn't just Archaeopteryx who had feathers back in the Mesozoic era.
Theories still abound, and no complete picture is likely forthcoming. However, we are learning more. I suspect that a great many dinosaurs remained scaled creatures right up to the end. But it is quite likely that a number of the faster moving predators would hae developed feathers for the sake of warmth. Is it possible that the raptors of Jurassic Park looked a bit more like over grown chickens?
